Quick and Easy Salmon Pasta Recipe

suitable for babies from 6 months.

Makes a great lunch for mum too!

  • 1 small Daly’s salmon fillet
  • 50g baby pasta or pasta for the mums
  • 1/2 small leek, sliced and diced
  • 50g broccoli
  • 3 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 tbsp crème fraiche
  • 5 tbsp milk (or formula milk for the babies)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Place the salmon in a microwaveable bowl with 2 tablespoons of milk and cook in the microwave for 2 minutes.

Check the salmon for any bones and flake.

Cook the baby pasta. If you have a steamer pan, steam the broccoli above the boiling pasta for 4-5 minutes. Alternatively, cook the broccoli in a pan of boiling water for 4 mins.

Place the leek in a saucepan with a little olive oil and cook over the heat until soft.  (stir to prevent sticking)

Add the rest of the milk, bring to the boil, then add the salmon and poach for 3-4 mins.

Stir in the cheese until melted, and then add the pasta and broccoli. Stir in the crème fraiche and mash to the desired consistency.
